Full Stack Engineer – React.js

As part of the applications team, you’d be working on the innovative dashboard and UI apps, that rely on flexible and agile architecture to solve user experience problems.

Role

  • You will be working with a high degree of independence, work closely with User Experience Designers and Researchers, Product Managers and other Engineers to implement an excellent user experience.
  • You will be building console product that enables fleet operations teams to run businesses around the world
  • Someone who is able to process customer use cases and requirements, identify multiple execution options, understand their complexities, and define the required scope of work to get tasks done.
  • You will be enabling the next generation of companies challenging the DoorDashes and Ubers of the world
  • A product centric developer who is comfortable with the challenge of creating product end-to-end with feedback from users.
  • You will help set the bar on code quality and practices as we scale up

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.
  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Launch, iterate, and make a difference.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on service operations and quality.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years programming experience in ReactJS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python or Java or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of Web standards and protocols, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and HTTP.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, other technical related field.
  • Front-end or full-stack experience and passionate about front-end.
  • Ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with start-up or SaaS products.
  • Mapping or visualization experience.
  • Experience with server-side web frameworks such as Django, or Spring.
